जेल में प्रताड़ना
जेल एक ऐसा स्थान है जहां न्यायपालिका आपको हिरासत में रखती है. न्यायिक हिरासत के दौरान आपके हालचाल की चिंता जज करते हैं. वे इस पर नजर रखते हैं कि आपको खाना किस तरह का मिल रहा है, साफ-सफाई किस तरह की है, आपकी सेहत कैसी है और आपकी सुरक्षा एवं बचाव की व्यवस्था दुरुस्त है या नहीं.
कोई भी व्यक्ति जेल के भीतर भी तब तक आपसे नहीं मिल सकता जब तक आपने खुद समुचित माध्यम से इसकी इजाजत न दी हो.
इन सबके बावजूद तथ्य तो यह है कि जेल शोषण के अड्डे बने हुए हैं. खाना अच्छी क्वालिटी का नहीं मिलता. कैदियों की सुरक्षा पर जोखिम बना रहता है. साथी कैदियों और अधिकारियों के द्वारा प्रताड़ना आम बात है. विभिन्न तरह के कैदियों में कोई अलगाव नहीं होता.

HARASSMENT IN JAIL
Jail (Prison) is a place where the judiciary keeps you in custody. The judges are concerned about your well-being during judicial custody. They keep an eye on the quality of food provided to you, the cleanliness, your health as well as your safety and security.
Nobody can meet you inside jail unless and until you permit him through the proper channel.
Despite all these, the fact remains that jail is a place of exploitation. The quality of food is sub-standard. The safety of inmates is at risk. Harassment by inmates and authorities are common thing. There is no differentiation between different categories of inmates.
